E-School Payment - Mobile App Design

Designed an intuitive mobile application that simplifies school fee payments for parents, featuring secure transactions and multi-child support.
The E-School Payment mobile app was designed to solve a major administrative bottleneck: the manual collection of school fees. My design objective was to create a mobile-first solution that parents, regardless of their technical proficiency, could use with absolute confidence. I conducted extensive user research with focus groups of parents to identify pain points in the existing manual process and used these insights to build a highly optimized payment flow.
The app features a unified dashboard where parents can manage multiple children across different grade levels, track payment history, and receive instant confirmation for new transactions. I designed for multiple payment methods, including bank transfers and mobile money integrations. The design system emphasized security and trust, using clear visual feedback and simplified confirmation steps to ensure users felt secure throughout the payment process.
The results of the design implementation were dramatic: schools reported a 75% reduction in payment processing time and the virtually complete elimination of manual data entry errors. The app achieved a 95% adoption rate among parents in its first semester, significantly reducing the administrative workload for school staff. The project is an excellent example of how user-centered design can directly impact operational efficiency and user satisfaction in the educational sector.
