Operation Hope - Community Support Platform

About this project
Developed a user-friendly platform for a non-profit organization, featuring a resource library, service request forms, and a volunteer registration system.
The Operation Hope platform was developed to serve as a critical digital infrastructure for an organization dedicated to supporting underserved communities. Built using Microsoft Power Pages and enhanced with custom HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery, the platform provides a centralized hub for resources, community services, and volunteer coordination. The project began with a deep UI/UX discovery phase in Figma, focusing on creating a truly accessible and intuitive experience for users of all technical skill levels.
I implemented a comprehensive resource library and a sophisticated service request system that automated previously manual workflows. By integrating custom JavaScript for dynamic form validation and interactive elements, I ensured that the platform felt modern and responsive while remaining within the Power Platform ecosystem. The volunteer registration portal was designed to handle high-volume sign-ups and categorize volunteers by skill set, allowing for efficient community mobilization.
Since its launch, the platform has supported over 2,000 community members monthly and reduced the time spent on manual service request processing by half. The volunteer base grew by over 120%, thanks to the simplified registration process. Furthermore, I ensured that the platform was designed so that non-technical staff could update content independently, ensuring the sustainability and longevity of the digital service.
