Hulu Sport - Sports Betting Frontend Development

As a lead frontend developer for Hulu Sport, I was responsible for creating a high-performance, real-time sports betting interface for one of the leading gaming platforms in the region. The primary technical requirement was the integration of live data streams for odds updates across hundreds of simultaneous sporting events. By utilizing WebSockets, I achieved sub-second latency for odds refreshes, ensuring that users always have access to the most current information when placing bets.

The UI was rigorously optimized for performance and mobile-first responsiveness, as the majority of the user base accesses the platform via mobile devices. I implemented complex betting slip logic and integrated secure payment gateways, ensuring a smooth and reliable experience for users during high-traffic events like the World Cup.
